About The Event

The hurting voice within. Release your primal voice

Each emotion and physical pain has a sound. Our western culture encourages us to keep that sound to ourselves. We rarely, if at all cry, wail, shout out or verbally express negative emotions for fear that it may embarrass us or the people around us. Other cultures openly encourage this as it is a healthy and essential part of who we are and how we cope with difficult situations, injury and illness.

A sound or something you want to express that is suppressed is unhealthy and can cause tension, confusion and sometimes illness and depression.

This class is designed to let you feel, hear and express those sounds that are locked away in your body in the safe, calm, friendly and comfortable non judgemental surrounding of the studio, Su will guide you through your journey to help you recognise, understand and eventually release the sound that your emotional or physical pain has.

Su will then guide you in changing that sound and how it makes you feel. The class will finish by Su guiding you with uplifting sounds and vocal exercises to help you change how you view your emotions and pain

Your reason for the pain or upset can be kept to yourself. You do not need to share with the group what you have experienced.
